Following are the Citibank IndianOil credit card charges in detail including the Citibank IndianOil credit card annual fee:

  • Joining fee: Nil.
  • Annual fee: Rs. 1000 + taxes; waived off on annual spends of Rs. 30,000 or more.
  • Foreign currency transactions mark-up: 3.5%.
  • Cash advance fees: 2.5% on the withdrawn billed amount, subject to a minimum of Rs. 500.
  • Late payment charges: Nil to Rs. 1,300, depending on the statement balance amount.
  • Cash deposit at Citi branches charges: Rs. 250 per deposit.
  • Over credit limit charge: 2.5% of the amount over the credit limit + fees, charges and taxes, subject to a minimum of Rs. 500. 
  • Payment return charges (Cheque/ ECS/ ACH/ SI bounce charge): Rs. 500 per returned payment. 
  • Fuel transaction charge: 1% + GST. This charge is reversed at authorized IndianOil Corporation outlets for transactions above Rs. 10.
  • Railway ticket booking surcharge: 1.8% of the transaction value.

How to check the status of Citi IndianOil Credit Card?

Visit Citibank Online on your laptop, desktop or mobile. 

  • Click on the ‘Credit Cards’ tab from the menu bar.
  • Click on the ‘Track Application Status’ option from the drop-down menu, it will redirect you to a new page.
  • Enter your application reference number along with the mobile number you entered in your application. 
  • Now click the submit button.
  • If the details entered by you are accurate, you will get one of the following application statuses:
    • Approved
    • Disapproved
    • Dispatched
    • In progress
    • On-hold
  • The reason for each status may vary. The ‘in progress’ status may require you to wait for some more days, the ‘on hold’ status may require further documentation/ information from you, and the reason for the ‘disapproved’ status could be not meeting Citi’s card eligibility criteria.
  • You may also receive a ‘No records found’ status. This happens if the information entered by you is incorrect.
