How to Calculate Syndicate Bank Personal Loan EMI?

Using MyMoneyMantra's online EMI calculator, you can easily calculate the EMI amount you have to pay for a particular loan. All you need to do is just enter a few details like loan amount that is required to be borrowed to fund your needs, the interest rate at which the loan is being offered, and the tenure of the loan within which you have to repay the entire loan amount to the bank. Click on Calculate and the loan EMI along with the interest payable will be displayed.

The three factors that are required to calculate the loan EMI are further explained below:

  • Interest Rate: The interest rate differs from one scheme to another. It also depends on the credit score of the applicant and their repayment capacity.
  • Repayment Tenure: The EMI amount depends on how long you want the duration of the loan tenure to be. For example, the EMI for a loan of 1 Lakh, for the period of 1 year at an interest rate of 12.35% is 8,901. However, for the same loan, with the same interest rate but with a longer tenure of 3 years, the EMI will reduce to 3,338. The longer the duration, the lesser will be the EMI and vice versa.
  • Loan Amount: Last but not least, the EMI will always be high when the loan amount is high. Let us suppose that a loan of 5 Lakhs, at an interest rate of 12.35% for 3 years is taken, the EMIs for the same will be 16,691.
