However, to get these credit cards, you will be required to submit certain documents, as required by the card provider. The document requirement for a credit card varies from one provider to another. To apply for a credit card, the applicant must submit a photocopy of the documents mentioned below. The lender may also ask for original documents for verification. 

Documents Required for Salaried Indian Residents

Documents Required for NRI Customers

  • Non-English language declaration (if the document is present in a foreign language). It has to be self-attested by the customer & countersigned by the Regional Manager
  • Passport’s photocopy
  • Photocopy of the applicant's driving license
  • Original postpaid mobile bill
  • Original electricity bill, not exceeding 2 months before opening your account
  • Original telephone bill of public or private operators for the last 2 months
  • Details of the bank statement for the last 3 months
  • Photocopy of Voter’s ID card
  • The photocopy of your rental agreement or lease deed should be duly stamped.
  • You should submit a photocopy of the title deeds of your property and it should be stamped, and registered.
  • You must submit the letter's photocopy that you got from society. In this letter, your full name, address, and registration number of the society should be present. In addition, the full name, address, and designation of the signatories (President, Secretary) must be there in this letter.
  • You should submit the bill of monthly outgoings from the registered housing society.
