For overseas-registered merchants having facilities in India attract a charge of 1% from Visa/MasterCard which is included as a part of the transaction amount in credit card statement.
Cash Repayment FeeAll credit card repayments furnished through cash deposits at Standard Chartered Bank branches attract an upfront fee of Rs 299, the same are reflected alongside next month's credit card statement.
Paper Statement FeeStandard Chartered Bank charges a fee of Rs 99 per month for issuing a paper statement. This is applicable if the customer has opted for both, a paper and an electronic statement.
Rewards Handling FeeRs 99 is charged for handling & courier charges in case of rewards points redemption through Standard Chartered Rewards credit card.
SurchargesFor payments to IRCTC and Indian Railways, a surcharge of Rs 25 or 2.5% of transaction amount (whichever is higher) is applicable.
A fuel surcharge of Rs 10 or 1% of transaction amount (whichever is higher) is there on petrol/diesel/CNG transactions.
Rent Payment FeeRental payments through Standard Chartered Rewards credit card attract a processing fee of 1% of the transaction amount + GST. The same will be charged on all rental payments from 2 April 2023 onwards.

  2. PAN card.
  3. Address Proof: Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, Job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government, and the letter issued by the National Population Register containing details of name & address.
  4. Photograph: 1 recent passport-sized Photograph is required for credit card application.
  5. Financial documents for salaried: Latest one-month salary slip. 
  6. Financial documents for self-employed businessmen: Latest IT Returns with computation of income /Certified Financials, Last Business Continuity proof. 
  7. Financial documents for Self Employed Professionals: Latest IT Returns, Business Continuity proof.

Eligibility Criteria for Standard Chartered Rewards Credit Card

  1. Age: The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 65 years. The minimum age for add-on cardholders is 18 years.
  2. Monthly Income: A stable monthly income is required.
  3. Residency: The credit card applicants should have a temporary or permanent residence in any of the credit card sourcing cities/locations prescribed by the Standard Chartered Bank.
