How to Apply for BOBCARD through the Official Website
Below are the steps to apply for a BOBCARD through the official BOBCARD website.
For new customers
- Log in to the official website of the BOBCARD and select your preferred credit card under the ‘View Cards’ section.
- Fill online application form by providing your details like name, contact address, mobile number, email id, qualification, income details, employment details, marital status, etc.
- e-Sign using your Aadhaar.
- Verify your identity through video-KYC.
Steps to apply for the card through MyMoneyMantra
Using the digital platform provided by MyMoneyMantra, you can apply for the card.
- Visit the MyMoneyMantra website.
- Under ‘Credit Cards’ tab, choose the preferred card under the ‘BOBCARD’ option.
- Fill in all the relevant information required for applying for the card.
- Now you will be guided by the representatives of MyMoneyMantra through the whole process from the documentation to the approval of the card.
- On approval, the card will be dispatched to your address. The card and the PIN will be dispatched separately.
To apply for the card offline, you can reach out to the BOBCARD customer support or visit the nearest Bank of Baroda branch branch to apply for the Credit Card by submitting the relevant documents.
BOBCARD Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a BOBCARD, you will have to comply with the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should be an Indian resident, a salaried or self-employed individual.
- For salaried applicants age limit is 21 to 65 years & for self-employed applicants age limit is 24 to 65 years
- The minimum annual income required for an Easy Card is ₹4.8 Lakhs for self-employed non-BoB customers, ₹3 Lakhs for salaried BoB customers, and ₹3.6 Lakhs for salaried non-BoB and self-employed BoB customers.
- The minimum annual income required for the Select Card is ₹4.8 Lakhs.
- The minimum annual income required for the Tiara Card and Premier Card is ₹7.2 Lakhs.
- For the Eterna Credit Card, the minimum net annual income should be ₹12 Lakhs.
- The credit score should be over 750.
Documents Required for BOBCARD
- Recent passport-size photograph and PAN Card (mandatory)
- Proof of identity such as PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Voter's ID Card, Passport or Driving Licence.
- Address proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Job Card, Utility Bills, Rental Agreement, etc.
- Income proof such as Bank Statements (reflecting salary credit of at least last 2 months), latest Salary Slips for salaried individuals, etc.
- Business entities/ self-employed individuals/ professionals should submit Bank Statements (reflecting business transactions of at least last 3 months), and other financial documents (as required).
- Along with the financial documents, the business entities should submit the Partnership Deed if a Partnership Company, and the Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, and Board Resolution, if a Company.
BOBCARD Payment
The following are the various ways of making BOBCARD payments.
- Insta Pay:
You can make the Credit Card payment by Insta-Pay using your internet banking facility.
Follow the simple steps:- Click on the Insta-Pay link.
- Enter the card number.
- Enter the verification code.
- Confirm the cardholder's name.
- Enter your mobile number and email ID, and amount.
- There is an option to use either BOBCARD net banking facilities or other bank net banking facilities for making the payment.
- You can choose from over 50 banks by clicking on the dropdown.
- Once the transaction is completed, you will receive a receipt.
- It will take two days for the transaction to be recorded in your card account.
- Customer Portal: If you are a customer of BOBCARD, then the card payment can be done through the customer portal on https://online.bobcard.co.in/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2flogin.
- BOBCARD App: You can use the BOBCARD mobile app for card bill payment.
- Auto-debit: If you are a customer of BOBCARD, you can give auto-debit instructions on your Savings Bank Account to debit the bill amount on monthly. To enable ECS for the Credit Card payment, the cardholder must fill in the ECS form and submit it at any of the branches of BOBCARD.
- By Cheque: You can also make a payment through a Cheque. You will have to mention the 16-digit card number as the Payee's name. The cheque can be dropped at any dropbox of BOBCARD.
- By Cash: You can deposit cash at any of the BOBCARD branches towards the Credit Card payment.

FAQs
The standing instructions for the debit of the particular account, as requested by the cardholder, will be set for a particular date, which will be before the Credit Card due date. If the date on which the debit has to be carried out is a holiday, then the debit will be done on the next working day.
The loss/ theft of the card should be reported immediately to the Bank through their customer care helpline, the moment it is noticed. The card will be blocked, and a new card will be issued within 7 days. In the case the card is stolen, an FIR has to be lodged at the police station of the jurisdiction, and a copy of the same has to be submitted to the Bank.
If the card is damaged, then the card has to be dispatched to any of the addresses of the BOBCARD branches mentioned in their official website. The damaged card will be replaced and sent to your registered residential address.
No, the add-on cardholder shares the credit limit of the primary cardholder.
The cardholder has to register the Credit Card on the link provided in the official website of the bank and generate a password that will be used for all online transactions. This will be an added authentication for all the online transactions. Whenever asked during online transactions, the cardholder has to provide this registered password. The same process has to be repeated in case a new card/ replacement card is issued.
This registration will enable the cardholder to access the Credit Card account, make bill payments, and for other various requests made online.
To check the Credit Card Application Status online, you will have to follow a few simple steps:
- Visit the official website of the bank, exclusive for Credit Cards.
- On the left side of the website, there is a Customer Corner option.
- On clicking the Customer Corner, 'Track Application Status' will pop-up. Select the option.
- You will be directed to the Track Application Status page, where you will be provided application number and date of birth.
- Click on 'Get Details' after providing the required information.
- Once the details are submitted, the status of the application will appear.
- It will either be 'in progress or approved.'
- ‘In progress’ indicates that the processing of the application is ongoing.
- 'Approved' means the decision has been taken, and the card is ready for printing and dispatch.
- On dispatch of the card, the status on the site will change to Dispatched.
- Another option, 'Track Dispatch Details' is also available, wherein you can check the status of the speed post/ courier. An AWB number is required to check this status.
During the application processing, if any discrepancies are noticed, the representatives of the Bank will contact you.
You will have to check the status a week after the submission of the application.
To check the status of the application offline, you will have to call the Customer Care helpline No. 1800-223-224. Keep your application number ready before calling. Alternatively, you can visit any of the BOB branches to track the application status.
Unless requested, your BOBCARD will be renewed on expiry, except in the following conditions.
- Where the conduct of the account is found to be unsatisfactory.
- When your credit history is found to be unsatisfactory, as per the credit bureau.
- When the outstanding dues are high.
- If your contact and/or KYC details are not updated.
- When your card is in a blocked state
- When no transaction is observed in your card account in the past year from the due date of renewal.
You can generate a four-digit PIN for the BOBCARD through the ‘BOBCARD’ mobile app/ portal or via IVR by calling BOBCARD toll-free numbers 1800 2665 100/ 1800 2667 100. The easiest way to generate the PIN is through the mobile app by following the steps below:
- Download and log in to the BOBOCARD mobile app.
- Choose the card for which you want to set/change the PIN.
- Select the ‘Card PIN Generate’ option under ‘My Card Services’.
- Enter the new PIN and then re-enter the same.
- Tap on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and submit again.
- Your PIN will be set.
