Ans. The Credit Limit is shared between the Primary Card and Add-On Cards. The Add-On card holder thus can use an Add-on Card up to the total credit limit of the account. Ans: No, BT service cannot be booked for another SBI Card that you own. It is only available to transfer balance outstanding on other bank cards.

Ans: SBI BT facility is available on all credit cards, issued by different banks in India.

Is there any cap on Balance Transfer that I can avail?

Ans: The limit for balance transfer varies as per the card holder's available credit limit. The limit for the minimum balance transfer is 5,000, where the maximum cap is 75% of the available limit to you. When you book the balance transfer, the maximum available limit is communicated to you.

Do I get the balance transfer via a cheque?

Ans: For VISA Credit Cards, the BT is processed through Visa Money Transfer, while for all other Credit Cards a cheque is issued for the BT amount.

How long does it take to receive the BT cheque?

Ans. In metro cities, it will take up to 3 working days to receive the cheque. Otherwise, it may take 5 working days to reach you.

Can I Prepay the amount due on my BT on EMI before the end of the tenure?

Ans: Yes, you can pay out EMIs before the tenure. However, a fee of 3% is levied on the outstanding principal excluding the applicable GST.

What type of transactions can be converted into Flexipay?

Ans: You can convert the following transactions into flexipay:

  • Retail purchases made through SBI Credit Card.

What is Encash? How much can I book and for how long?

Ans: Encash is a premium facility that is extended to select SBI credit cardholders. Herein, the cardholders are pre-approved for requesting money- on- demand facility. The preapproved limit can be within or over and above the existing credit limit. The funds are transferred within 48 hrs or via payable-at-par cheque.

You can request Encash for a minimum of 10,000, and the maximum amount is as per the offer. The facility can be booked for a period of 1, 2, 3 or 4 years.

Ans: You can request NEFT & Cheque mode for Easy money facility. The former will take around 2 days to process the request while the latter will take 3 to 5 working days to deliver the cheque.

What is the Order of Payment Settlement?

How and when should I raise a transaction dispute on my SBI Card?

Ans: You must raise a transaction dispute within 25 days of the transaction by filling a Transaction Dispute Form (TDF) and supporting Documents (as mentioned in the TDF).

The TDF is available on the central section on the official SBI Card website. On availing TDF, the SBI Card is authorized to investigate the dispute with the respective Merchant.
