Priority Pass Lounge Charges

1. Within India, all Airport Lounge visits through the Priority Pass Program are charged with a usage fee of $27 per visit + applicable taxes.

2. Outside India, all Airport Lounge visits through the Priority Pass Program are charged with a usage fee of $27 per visit + applicable taxes.

You can convert earned Reward points into Air India miles. 1 Reward point = 1 Air India Air mile. 

Rewards on Tickets Bookings

You earn Reward Points on booking air tickets with your Air India SBI Platinum Card.

  • You earn up to 15 Reward Points per  100 spent on booking Air India tickets through airindia.com and Air India mobile app.
  • Air Ticket bookings processed through Air India booking offices or Air India call centers fetches you 5 Reward Points per  100. You can book for the self or the others. Air India Call Centre Number is 18001801407.
  • Earn 5 Reward Points per  100 spent on Super Saver booklet purchases.

Terms of use:

  • Booking through Air India Website and App provides 15 Reward Points for the self; and 5 Reward Points for others.
  • Up to 15 Reward Points are credited to your account within 45 days from the date of transaction.
  • It will take 7 working days to convert Reward Points into Air India Air Miles after the request is received.
  • The minimum threshold for Air Mile redemption is 5,000 reward points and further in the multiples of 5,000 only.
  • The request for converting Reward Points into Air India Air Miles cannot be reversed.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver

With Air India SBI Platinum Card, enjoy 1% fuel surcharge waiver across all petrol pumps. The benefit is extended for all purchases at petrol pumps in India. The fuel transaction should be anywhere between  500 to  4,000, excluding the applicable taxes.

The maximum surcharge waiver limit is  250 per statement cycle per card.

Air India SBI Platinum Card is a premium travel card that offers you complimentary Visa Lounge Access. 

You enjoy 8 complimentary visits per year under Visa Lounge Access Program at major domestic airports in India. You can tap the maximum of 2 visits per quarter.

Some of the common reasons for non-enrolment of Frequent Flyer membership number with Air India are:

  1. Having a previous Frequent Flyer Membership number that is not the same as the one imprinted on your Air India SBI Platinum Card
  2. The e-Mail ID used is not as per the SBI Card database
  3. When an initial of the name or a single alphabet is used in place of the First Name or Last Name, processing fails and shows an inaccurate name.

In any of these cases, you must contact SBI Card helpline 39020202 (Prefix local STD code) and seek the issue resolution. They will process the required change and correct the enrolment status.
