Reliance Home Finance has devised a three-level grievance redressal system to resolve the issues to the utmost satisfaction of its customers. The main objective of the redressal mechanism is to resolve the issues in a fair and justified manner within the set rules and regulations. The Company also guides the customer concerning lodging a complaint and how to go about the issue till it is resolved to his/her satisfaction.

The Company provides various methods for lodging a complaint. It can be done orally by calling the Reliance Home Finance Customer Care or can be given in writing. The complaint can be lodged electronically through an email or through the official website of the Company by filling up a compliant form.

Key responsibilities of the Nodal Officer

  • The prime responsibility of the Nodal Officer is to ensure that the Grievances Redressal Policies are not breached. Corrective measures wherever necessary should be taken, and this has to be monitored by the Nodal Officer. Providing a solution to the satisfaction of the customer should be the objective of the Nodal Officer.
  • He should make sure that the time frame is adhered to for the redressal. If delays are noticed, corrective steps should be taken to avoid such delays, including staff accountability wherever there are deficiencies in service.

The Grievances Redressal Process

The executive in charge of complaints redressal at the branches i.e., either the Customer Service Officer or the Customer Service Manager at the branch has to shoulder the responsibility of resolving the grievances received at the branch level to the utmost satisfaction of the customer.

In the case that the Customer Service Officer/Manager feels that the customer is not satisfied with the branch level redressal he should suggest alternative avenues for escalation of the issue. If the executive of the Customer Service Department at the branch feels that the matter cannot be resolved at the branch he should refer the issue to the Customer Service Head or the Nodal Officer to get the desired resolution. Ensuring optimum customer satisfaction is the prime responsibility of the Customer Service Executive of the branch for all the complaints received at the branch level.

Turnaround Time for Grievances Redressal

For all the complaints received in writing, acknowledgement/suitable response will be provided within 7 days.

If the complaint is lodged through Reliance Home Loan Customer Care, a reference number for every complaint will be provided and the customer will be informed about the status of the complaint from time to time.

After proper review, the Company will send a conclusive response or will elucidate the reasons for more time required to deal with the issue and this will be done within a maximum of six weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint. If the customer is not happy with the redressal, the Company will also suggest the redressal mechanism to escalate the matter to higher levels.
