You can find the records with Khatian and Plot information online through two ways, i.e. via the options of “Query Search” and “Know Your Property”. You will need to complete the two steps given below for both the methods:

• Login with your username & password and enter the accurate captcha code.

After successful login, follow the steps mentioned below:

By “Know Your Property” method

• Click on the “Know Your Property” option available on the Banglarbhumi website.
• A page of “Khatian & Plot Information” will appear where you will have to enter the Mouza details like District, Block and Mouza.
• Select “Search by Khatian” or “Search by Plot” option.
• Now, as per your requirement, enter the Khatian number for online Khatian check or Plot number.
• Enter the captcha code and click on “View” to see the required information.

By “Query Search” method

• From the menu available on the website, select “Query Search”.
• A pop up will be displayed where you will have to enter “Query Number” and “Query Year”.
• Enter captcha code and click on “Show” to view the required information.

Follow the steps given below to search plot information via Query Number:

• Visit the official website of Banglarbhumi and click on the “Query Search” button given on the right hand side on top of the page.
• Now enter the query number, query year, captcha code, and click the “Show” button to view any information related to the concerned plot.

You have to fill the plot map request details online on the Banglarbhumi website under the “service delivery” option given under the “Citizen Services” tab. From the dropdown list, click on the “Plot Map Request” option and enter all the necessary details including your plot’s District and Block. Now you can easily view the plot map request details.

To get Record of Rights (RoR) details in West Bengal through the CSC centre, follow the steps given below:

• Visit your nearest CSC centre.
• Fill in the required application form with all necessary details.
• Attach the documents as required, including identity proof, Aadhaar, ration card, encumbrance certificate, etc. 
• Submit the application attached with the required documents to the concerned authority.
• After verification, a certified copy of RoR will be issued.

To get RoR details in West Bengal through e-District portal, follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of West Bengal e-District.

• Click “Save” to register.

• Upload the required documents and then click on the “Submit” tab.
• You will receive an acknowledgement slip and an application number.
• After verification, the concerned authority will issue your RoR certificate.

Follow the steps mentioned below to track your application status:

• Visit the e-District website. 
• Click on the “Inspection Report” button given on the bottom right of the page.
• Enter your “Application Identification Number”. 
• Click the “Search Document”button to view your application status.

The digital database of LR maps & scanned copies of Revisional Survey maps are available in all district offices of the state now. You can access the printed copies of RS and LR maps by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 150 per sheet. The Banglarbhumi’s development website was launched in 2012 after which e-Bhuchitra services were embedded in the portal via a module called Banglarbhumi Know Your Property.

Under Section 49(1) of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act (WBLR Act), 1955, eligible beneficiaries of land can get the property distributed among them for agricultural purposes. Families who do not own any land or own only less than 1 acre or 0.4048 hectares of land can claim eligibility for this. A landless person can claim the maximum land area distribution of 1 acre and for a bargadar, half the land cultivated by the person is considered to be eligible for them.

The Department of Land Reforms, Government of West Bengal launched Jomir Tothya or the Banglarbhumi mobile application with the aim of providing seamless online services and live land data on a 24x7 basis to citizens in three languages i.e. English, Bengali, and Devanagari.
