The J&K Bank Credit Card statement is generated on 20th of every month. This date is technically called the Statement Date. The amount outstanding on the statement date is due on the 10th of subsequent month. Thus, if the cardholder makes a transaction on the last date before the billing cycle, he/she enjoys a free credit period of 20 days. This period can go up to 50 days if the transaction is made on the first day of the next billing cycle. It is important to learn that the free credit period facility can be enjoyed on if the Total Amount Due is paid on every statement date.
Minimum Amount Due is the minimum amount that a cardholder is required to pay on the due date to avoid reporting a default. This is 5% of the Total Amount Due on the statement date.
Furthermore, the Minimum Amount Due will be more than 5% of the Total Amount Due in the following cases:
