HDFC NetBanking Registration Process Online

HDFC Savings Account customers can easily register for the bank’s online banking service. The  net banking facility is available to only resident and non-resident individuals with an active mobile number. Customers can register for netbanking online, through an ATM, Phone Banking, or by downloading the form for the same. 

Here are the steps involved in the online HDFC net banking registration process:

  • Visit the net banking page of HDFC online.
  • Click on the ‘Register’ link given at the bottom of the page.
  • A page will open, enter your Customer ID and then click on the ‘Go’ button.
  • Confirm your mobile number registered to your account.
  • Now enter the OTP received by you on your registered mobile number.
  • You have to select the Debit Card and fill up the relevant details.
  • You can now set the IPIN on the next page.
  • Now, after successful HDFC net banking register, you will be able to use your Customer ID and the newly generated IPIN to access your net banking account anytime.

HDFC NetBanking Login

Below are the steps to login to HDFC NetBanking:

  • Visit the login page of HDFC net banking at https://netbanking.hdfcbank.com/netbanking/.
  • Enter your customer ID and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
  • Now enter the IPIN for HDFC netbanking login.

Reset Password of HDFC Netbanking

Here are the steps to reset your HDFC netbanking password:

  • Visit the net banking website of HDFC Bank.
  • Now, on the HDFC netbanking login page, click on the ‘Forgot IPIN (Password)?’ button.
  • Now enter your User ID/ Customer ID and then click on ‘Go’.
  • Select any one of the two options given below:
    • Authentication with One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered Mobile Number and your Debit Card details.
    • Authentication with One Time Passwords (OTPs) sent to your registered Mobile Number and Email ID.
  • After completing the above step, enter the relevant details.
  • Now, you can set the new IPIN for HDFC net banking login with the User ID and new IPIN.

How to Transfer Fund in HDFC Netbanking

HDFC Bank customers can transfer funds to their own accounts and also make third-party transfers through the net banking portal. For third-party transfers, you have to complete the netbanking HDFC login process and click on ‘Funds Transfer’. On the next page, choose the relevant option for completing the transfer. Transfers can be done via any of the following modes: 

  • National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT): NEFT enables users to transfer funds to other banks except HDFC. You can transfer an amount ranging from Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 10 Lakhs. However, you must add the account to which the funds will have to be transferred as a beneficiary.
  • Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): With RTGS, funds are paid to the beneficiary’s bank within the time stipulated by RBI. The account where the money is being transferred to must be added as a beneficiary. RTGS enables you to transfer an amount ranging from Rs. 2 Lakhs to Rs. 10 Lakhs.
  • Immediate Payment Service (IMPS): You can transfer funds immediately via IMPS even on bank holidays. With this mode, funds can be transferred to HDFC accounts as well as to other banks. 
  • Visa CardPay: Under this mode, you can transfer funds from your HDFC account to any Visa Credit Card in India. However, before making the transfer, the credit card account has to be added as a beneficiary. The amount is transferred within 2 working days.
  • Online Merchant Payment: This option can be used for transferring funds to online merchant accounts except mutual fund payments, tax payments, and payments to stock brokers.
  • Other: You can also transfer funds from your HDFC account to another HDFC account immediately via using different Customer IDs.

  • Complete the hdfcbank com login using your Customer ID/User ID and password/IPIN.
  • Link your credit card to your net banking account using your credit card ATM PIN.
  • You will find the option to transfer the money to the credit card under the ‘Funds Transfer’ section and the ‘Credit Card’ section.
