SBI Lifetime Free Credit Cards Fees and Charges

The following are the charges associated with SBI lifetime free credit cards:

  • Cash advance fee at domestic & international ATMs: 2.5% or Rs. 500, whichever is higher.
  • Cash payment fee: Rs. 250 + applicable taxes.
  • Finance charges: Up to 3.75% p.m. (45% p.a.). 
  • Late payment charges: Rs. 0 - Rs. 1,300, depending on outstanding amount.
  • Additional late payment charge: Rs. 100.
  • Overlimit fee: 2.5% of the overlimit amount exceeding the credit limit or Rs. 600, whichever is higher.
  • Payment dishonor fee: 2% of the payment amount (minimum Rs. 500) is charged on SBI credit card apply online lifetime free or other variants.
  • Utility payment fee: 1%, if the sum of all utility payments in a billing cycle exceeds Rs. 50,000.
  • Rewards redemption fee: Rs. 99 (applicable on physical product, statement fee credit & vouchers sent physically).
  • Card replacement: Rs. 100 - Rs. 1,500.
  • Cheque payment fee: Rs. 200.
  • Foreign currency transaction fee: 1.99% - 3.5%, depending on card variant.
  • Processing fee on rent payment transactions: Rs. 199.
  • Dynamic currency conversion fee: 1.99% - 3.5%, depending on card variant (on transactions >= Rs. 1,000 carried out in INR at an international location/ merchants located in India but registered overseas. 
  • Balance transfer rate of interest: Up to 1.7% p.m. (20.40% p.a.) is charged for SBI credit card lifetime free no annual fee, or even other SBI cards.
