Every bank has its own ATM withdrawal rules. You can contact the customer care number of your home branch bank to find out the updates in the rules.

Changes in SBI ATM Cash Withdrawal Rules

As per the available information, State Bank of India (SBI), the largest Indian commercial bank, is also changing its ATM withdrawal rules for account holders from 01.07.2020. According to the SBI Bank’s official website, i.e., sbi.co.in, SBI allows 8 free transactions in a month in metro cities to its regular savings account holders. After these free transactions, charges are levied on each transaction. These include 5 free transactions from SBI ATMs and 3 free transactions from ATMs of any other bank. In non-metro cities, customers get 10 free ATM transactions, including 5 free transactions from SBI and 5 free transactions from other banks. The charges levied after that are Rs. 20 + applicable GST for cash transactions and Rs. 8 + applicable GST for non-cash transactions.
